TRANSITION SERVICES:
Accotink Academy's Transition Program is designed to meet the unique needs of our students by preparing them for further education, training, employment, and independent living. The transition process starts when the student becomes eligible for services according to their jurisdiction unless otherwise stated by the LEA.
VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Accotink Academy’s vocational training program provides students with specialized and general employability skills. A heavy emphasis is placed on “soft skills” training coupled with job sampling activities and work experiences that will help to develop and nurture skill competence and build self-esteem. The primary goal is to equip students with the skills necessary for gaining and maintaining employment.

This is an amazing catalyst to the Career and Technical Education (CTE) offerings here at Accotink Academy.
